Everyone is welcome to submit talks for SecureChainCon. Tracks include:

  • Use Cases on Open-Source Security Tools and the DevOps Pipeline
  • Threat Modeling and data generation from the DevSecOps Pipeline
  • Understand the Blockers, Drivers, and Solutions for making the software supply chain more secure
  • Compliance and Governance Tools and KPIs

First-time presenters are encouraged to submit talks.

Celebrating our Amazing Community of Committers

On December 9, 2023 the Ortelius community will host their 2nd ‘Holiday Gathering’ to celebrate the community committers of Ortelius. The celebration with start with Beer and Donuts hosted on Zoom, followed by lightning talks and games, hosted on the Ortelius Twitch channel.


  • 9:00 – 9:30 Beer and Donuts – Award Recognition for top performers in Outreach and Architecture
  • 9:45 – 11:00 Twitch Games and Lightning talks. (Presenter TBA)

Call for lightining talks is now open. If you are interested, please send an email to with your topic proposal.

Suggestions for Lightning talks include:

  • Aggregating SBOM data to the “logical application”
  • Ortelius’s Central Evidence Store and ML Workflows
  • Using Pulami to install Ortelius and Emporous
  • A Universal Object Repository – why it is important
  • Why Open-Source Projects are Important for Shared Learning
  • A review of Ortelius in 2023
  • What is on the 2024 Ortelius Roadmap
  • What is on the 2024 Emporous Roadmap

We look forward to hearing your lightning talks. Remember, everyone is welcome to participate. The Holiday gathering is a great way to do your first presentation, so be brave, submit a talk. The Continuous Delivery Foundation (CDF) has added the open source Emporous repository for software artifacts to an Ortelius platform for managing the software artifacts that make up a microservice.

Ortelius was originally created by DeployHub and subsequently contributed to the CDF, which also oversees the development of the open source Jenkins continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) platform.

The announcements come at the start of cdCon + GitOpsCon (May 8 – 9, 2023), an in-person event in Vancouver, Canada, co-organized with The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).
