On December 9, 2023 the Ortelius community will host their 2nd ‘Holiday Gathering’ to celebrate the community committers of Ortelius. The celebration with start with Beer and Donuts hosted on Zoom, followed by lightning talks and games, hosted on the Ortelius Twitch channel.

The Continuous Delivery Foundation (CDF) has added the open source Emporous repository for software artifacts to an Ortelius platform for managing the software artifacts that make up a microservice.
Ortelius was originally created by DeployHub and subsequently contributed to the CDF, which also oversees the development of the open source Jenkins continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) platform.

The announcements come at the start of cdCon + GitOpsCon (May 8 – 9, 2023), an in-person event in Vancouver, Canada, co-organized with The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).
