“We are excited to welcome the CDF and wider DevOps community to cdCon and for the community to come together to share their knowledge, collaborate, and learn both in person and virtually!” says Kara de la Marck, cdCon 2022 Program Lead and CDF Ecosystem Advocate.
“Open source communities and projects flourish by welcoming people of different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. The acceptance and enablement of different viewpoints is the foundation on which open source innovation thrives. It is our hope that a hybrid, in-person and virtual event, will enable the greatest, widest, and most diverse participation in cdCon.
“The program is fantastic thanks to the contributions of our wonderful community and program committee. We look forward to seeing you in person and virtually.”
Virtual Program
The virtual call for papers has recently closed and the virtual schedule will be announced the week of April 18.
Selection Process
We put out an open call for volunteers for cdCon planning participants and the program committee to our Ambassadors and the wider community. Our volunteers, led by Kara de la Marck, rated talks on a scale of 1-5 and met regularly to discuss what we were looking for in talks and where necessary did specific outreach to underrepresented speakers, end user organizations and on specific topics we wanted to encourage to be in the program.

Thank you to the program committee for reviewing and deliberating on 201 talks. The entire team was dedicated to delivering the best program and the best-combined experience for in-person and virtual attendees.
