Overall Impressions
We believe it was a great decision from DigitalOcean to remove the free t-shirt giveaways, which created the contribution race in the past. Our participating projects found that, although the number of contributions was smaller than previous years (30% less in Jenkins’ case), they received better pull requests and found that the contributors engaged with their communities—some even joined the Ortelius project meetings!
We plan to participate again next year but would like to encourage you all to keep contributing throughout the year. View all CDF Projects
