What is the CDF Ambassador Program?
CDF Ambassador program is an initiative by CD Foundation to enable Continuous Delivery Leadership and build the Continuous Delivery Foundation through engagement, outreach & adoption of open source CD software practices & tools.
In other words, Ambassadors champion the CD Foundation and our mission to improve the world’s capacity to deliver software with security and speed. They will work together and with the Ambassador Chair to help steer the tactical roadmap for the next four quarters.

How are Ambassadors Selected?
Ambassadors will be part of a yearly cohort. This year, the call for ambassadors attracted top talent from various demographic locations, industry segments and diverse backgrounds! We received an overwhelming number of nominations with 33% from Asia, 26% from Europe and 25% from North America. 45 nominations were selected and reviewed by the executive team and the Ambassador Chair, Garima Bajpai.
What are Community Builders?
We’re happy that our previous Ambassadors kept their interest and enthusiasm. For this reason, we decided to spin off a continued community engagement alongside our ambassador program—our CDF Community Builders.
CDF Community Builders will comprise outgoing ambassadors from the previous term and some of the current ambassador applicants who were invited to be Community Builders due to the great outreach work they’ve already established.
CDF Community builders will support the Foundation with outreach, podcast downloads, events, and similar activities. We intend to bring CDF Community Builders and Ambassadors together to improve overall networking and encourage collaboration.
How do I know if I was selected?
Communication will be sent out in February 2022. New Ambassadors will receive an email to welcome them to the program and a separate email will be sent to CDF Community Builder. If you applied but haven’t received an email by February 9, 2022, contact us.
