The Continuous Delivery Foundation is holding elections for a set of various positions throughout the foundation.
The following positions are currently open for nominations:
- Technical Oversight Committee (TOC) seats voted for by End-User members
- General Member Representative for the Governing Board
- Outreach Committee Chair
Positions Open for Nomination
TOC End-User Seats
Role: The TOC End-User Seats represent end-user organization interest and the technical oversight committee and work with the rest of the technical oversight committee to achieve the TOC’s goals, including:
- coordinating collaboration among Technical Projects, including the development of an overall technical vision for the community;
The two (2) TOC End-Users seats will be voted on by end-user members of the CD.Foundation.The elected representatives will hold the position for a one-year term.
Eligibility: Anyone is eligible to run for the TOC end-user seats. Ideally, they will have direct experience of end-user organizations, for example, by being a member of any end-user organization.

General Member Representatives for the Governing Board
Role: The General Member Representative advocates for all CDF General Member interests at the board level and works with the rest of the board members to achieve the Governing Board’s goals. If you’re not sure what the Governing Board does, read this post “The CD.Foundation Governing Board—What do they talk about?”
This year there will be two (2) general members elected to the governing board. Each elected representative will hold the position for a one-year term.
Eligibility: General Members, acting as a class, will be entitled to annually elect one representative to the Governing Board for every ten General Members as per Section 2.b of the CDF Charter.

Outreach Committee Chair
Role: The Outreach Committee Chair is responsible for the success of the Outreach Committee and reporting back to the board about the Outreach Committee. Also, to work with the rest of the board members to achieve the Governing Board’s goals.
The Outreach Committee is responsible for the design, development, and execution of community outreach efforts on behalf of the Governing Board. They are also expected to coordinate closely with the Governing Board and technical communities to maximize the outreach and visibility of the CD.Foundation throughout the industry.
The Outreach Chair will be voted on by members of the CD.Foundation Outreach committee. The elected Outreach Committee Chair will hold the position for a one-year term.
Eligibility: The Outreach Committee chair must belong to a member organization of the CD.Foundation as per Sections 4 of the CDF Charter.

Election Cycle Dates
- Nomination period: March 3 – March 16
- Voting period: March 17 – March 30
- Position Term: 1 April 2021 through 31 March 2022
