Welcome! Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) has joined the CDF!
Oracle recently announced Jenkins and GitLab have added support for the new Arm-based OCI Ampere A1 Compute instances. Now developers can build and deploy their applications using both high-performance x86 and Arm architectures on OCI. CI/CD support for the Ampere A1 Compute platform will enable developers to accelerate their efforts to build cloud native applications on the AArch64 architecture.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) provides a platform of cloud services that enable you to build and run a wide range of applications in a highly available, consistently high-performance environment. The technologies provided by OCI give developers and IT broad support for running existing workloads as well as creating cloud-native applications. The platform offers real-time elasticity for enterprise applications by combining Oracle’s autonomous services, integrated security, and serverless compute.

The growing CDF membership is led by premier members Armory, CircleCI, CloudBees, Fujitsu, Google, Huawei, JFrog, and Netflix, working together to make continuous delivery tools and processes as accessible and reliable as possible and grow the overall ecosystem. With Oracle joining CDF and committing to further strengthen the open-source ecosystem, we believe developers will have even more choice and have access to the new Ampere A1 Compute instances. Developers can easily get access and start developing on Ampere A1 and Intel X86 compute instances using the generous capacity provided in Oracle Cloud Free Tier. Oracle offers 4 A1 OCPUs and 24GB Memory as Always Free Arm resources as part of the free tier to help developers get easy access to compute resources.
