Welcome to the Tekton Hub! Public Invitation from CD Foundation

By November 17, 2020November 1st, 2023Announcement, Project

November 17, 2020 – KubeCon – The Continuous Delivery Foundation (CDF), the open-source software foundation that seeks to improve the world’s capacity to deliver software with security and speed, today sent out a call for testers and users of the Tekton Hub and Catalog. Tekton is a powerful and flexible open-source framework for creating continuous delivery systems. Tekton allows developers to build, test, and deploy across cloud providers and on-premise systems. Tekton is Kubernetes native and has been built from the ground up to leverage Kubernetes.

The Tekton Hub is an easy way to discover official and community tasks – any resource – for creating pipelines. It covers many distributed Tekton catalogs hosted by various organizations and teams. The Tekton Hub currently displays a curated set of community contributed tasks from the Community Catalog. Resources can be searched by name, display name, filtered by categories (cloud, cli, GitHub), and rated by users. Examples of tasks in the catalog include integration for GitHub, GitLab, Argo CD, Buildpacks & Helm.

The CD Foundation is calling for testers and users like you! https://hub-preview.tekton.dev/

Do you work on a continuous delivery system? Support the Tekton Hub and Catalog by joining the working group, Thursdays, 10:30 – 11 am PST. More information here: https://github.com/tektoncd/community/blob/master/working-groups.md#catalog-and-hub
