This year, cdCon will be a micro-conference at Open Source Summit North America — a conference umbrella, composed of a collection of events covering the most important technologies, topics, and issues affecting open source today.

Continuous Delivery is evolving across every industry. As shown in the 2023 State of Continuous Delivery Report, there is increased adoption of CD and DevOps, as well as a continued emergence of challenges including processes, visibility, security, and complexity.

I am thrilled to be appointed the Program Chair of this year’s cdCon North America to solicit the best thought leadership and education from CD leaders, practitioners, and educators. In order to create a valuable and diverse agenda this year, I’m looking for volunteers to help with the rating and selection of the cdCon NA talks that will make up this year’s program.

Deadline to apply to be on the Program Committee: November 15, 2023 at 11:59 pm PT.

Important dates

  • CFP opens: soon
  • Event Date/Location: April 16-18, 2024 in Seattle, Washington

Commitment

Program Committee members will be ready to make a 3-month commitment (15 hours in total including reviews of talk proposals and meetings), from the first meeting in early December to the end of February to review and meet to discuss the talk proposals. Once the program is announced, they will help with event promotion until mid-April.

Selected program committee members will receive a free conference pass for Open Source Summit NA.

Please read the CD Foundation’s CFP Review Guidelines and the OSS NA Code of Conduct.
