It’s our pleasure to announce Andrea Frittoli, Open Source Developer Advocate at IBM, was elected as the new Technical Oversight Committee (TOC) Chair last week!
Andrea has been heavily involved in many parts of the Continuous Delivery Foundation, so much so that last year he won the CDF Community Award for Top CDF Contributor. He is a CDF and Tekton Governing Board member and Events SIG and CDEvents co-chair.
His contributions in 2022 alone made the creation of CDEvents and the Tekton graduation a reality. We look forward to seeing the future of the CDF with him as the TOC lead.
A very big thank you to Oleg Nenashev, who served as the TOC Chair since the summer of 2021. Oleg, your contributions helped make the CD Foundation what it is today.
A message from Andrea:
“I’m honored and humbled to have been elected chair of the Continuous Delivery Foundation Technical Oversight Committee.
“I have the pleasure of serving as chair to a great TOC and I’m confident that together with the projects teams, special interest groups and member companies we can realize the CD Foundation’s mission to ‘foster and sustain the ecosystem of open-source, vendor-neutral projects through collaborations and interoperability.’
“As chair, I will foster transparency and collaboration across projects and SIGs, as well as towards other groups such as the CNCF, the OpenSSF, and more. I will also promote interoperability between tools in the CD space as an area of focus for the TOC (to be included in the public roadmap).
“The TOC meetings are public and open to everyone—I invite anyone who would like to collaborate with the TOC to join our meetings!”
