SAN FRANCISCO, November 4, 2021 – The Continuous Delivery Foundation (CDF), the open source software foundation that seeks to improve the world’s capacity to deliver software with security and speed, today announced that Testlio has joined the CDF as a General Member.
Testlio is the originator of networked testing, which provides a proprietary platform, freelance testers, and client services to help organizations release better software faster. Integrating manual and automated testing, Testlio’s capabilities span multiple forms of testing: functional, exploratory, regression, localization, user experience, and more. Their customers include Amazon, American Express, Netflix, the NBA, SAP, and ViacomCBS.
“We are excited to announce Testlio is joining the CDF. Testlio’s membership will bring expertise around testing for web and mobile apps and strengthens the intersection of continuous testing and continuous delivery,” announced Tracy Miranda, Continuous Delivery Foundation Executive Director. “Fresh perspectives on testing will benefit continuous delivery developers and users alike.”
CDF is led by Premier Members Armory, CircleCI, CloudBees, Fujitsu, Google, Huawei, JFrog, Red Hat, and Netflix. Testlio will be working together with the full membership and the worldwide community to make continuous delivery tools and processes as accessible and reliable as possible, while ensuring the software that they deliver is of exceptionally high quality and growing the overall ecosystem.
“When it comes to digital experiences, customer expectations have never been higher. Modern approaches to quality have become mission critical for engineering leaders,” said Steve Semelsberger, CEO of Testlio. “We’ve been fans of the Linux Foundation for many years and wholeheartedly support the Continuous Delivery Foundation, especially as members of our leadership team previously worked at DevOps pioneers like CloudBees and Red Hat. We’re committed to Testlio platform integrations with CI/CD tools like Jenkins. And we value the opportunity to be part of a community dedicated to raising the bar on software delivery speed, efficiency, and quality.”
Organizations join CDF because they want to take an active role in supporting the growth and evolution of continuous delivery models and best practices. For more information on how you can join today, see: https://cd.foundation/members/join-member/
